Parent Coaching
I am beginning to work 1-on-1 with clients who want help creating more laughter, joy, and connection in the home. I am the author of How to Tell Stories to Children (now in 21 languages), a teacher, and father who has been working with children for over 10 years. My daughter is 13 and we are gritty, compassionate, and close.
I have written for Fatherly and am an oustpoken advocate for engaged fatherhood. In 2015, I organized the #GreatDad Campaign, and in 2017 I created the Juniper School, a network of families, farmers, elders, and craftswomen who have served for 7 years running as true community for my students. I play a role as a man and dedicated father, but openly advocate for more inclusivity for women’s wisdom in our culture. Together, our school community has navigated growth, rites of passage, death, loss, joy, and our children’s education. If you want help creating this for your family, let’s talk.
I want to help parents build sustainable community and navigate new growth patterns for childhood, education, and our collective future. For me, it starts with simple, everyday connection, love, and trust. Children who have this as a foundation excel at whatever they take on. They become more resilient and create healthy friendships that see them through tough times. Meanwhile, parenting becomes easier and more joyful.
Send me a message below if you want to connect. First call is on me. If we like working together, we can find a schedule and cost (roughly $75/session) that works for both of us. Lean on my years of experience crafting joy and connection with healthy children and families.
